What you'll be doing:

Design and develop blazing fast, elegant, scalable and fault-tolerant Node.js code.
Work on fun projects such as social networking features for mobile gamers (Chat rooms, photo sharing, etc.).
Identify issues by analyzing data, processes, and code to solve back-end issues and recognize areas for improvement.
Design new tables and indexes in our DynamoDB database.
Perform consistent and substantial testing to create highly innovative, consumer-facing mobile products.
Help us maintain 99.99% up-time by designing and maintaining a fault-tolerant architecture.
Write secure code and maintain the functionality of the infrastructure.
Work closely and efficiently in collaboration with the design team and fellow developers.

What we're looking for:

Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is required.
Strong knowledge of Back-End coding languages such as JavaScript, Typescript and Node.js.
Previous work experience with AWS and mobile development.
Understanding of relational databases, including API design techniques to help keep them clean and maintainable.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
