Miniclip is looking for a Treasury and Tax Manager to help the company ensure its compliance in all areas of tax, help determine its tax strategy and manage its cash. This is a full-time role, reporting to the Head of Finance based in the UK. Please apply only if you have the right to work in the UK.

The candidate will be required to help set up the treasury function in detail and take our tax planning to the next level, whilst ensuring compliance.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Treasury

  • Management of treasury including long term deposits and currency purchases.
  • Ownership of banking access, security and structure.
  • Manage cashflow forecasting process to inform and influence business decisions on cash and capital.

Tax

  • Understand where the key risks lie within the business, including indirect and employment taxes.
  • Defines and communicates a strategy to internally and externally manage tax expense.
  • Monitoring of VAT registration requirements globally.
  • Completion of VAT returns for countries outside of our company locations.
  • Management of VGTR process.
  • Responsible for tax compliance across the group.
  • Assistance in tax implications of transactions, legal agreements, M&A etc.
  • Preparing assessments of tax legislation changes and impacts on the business.
  • Preparation of annual tax returns across the group and QIPs (UK).
  • Managing the relationship with external tax advisors as first point of contact.
  • Management of Transfer Pricing policy, calculations and documentation.
  • Provides audit support during audit process.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • Recognised professional qualification covering tax (e.g. ACA/IOT or overseas equivalent).
  • Practical experience of tax reporting for multinational company.
  • Able to retain institutional knowledge and cross-train relevant staff in key risks.
  • Experience in tech/gaming sector desirable but not essential.
  • Self-sufficient and able to complete work with limited direct supervision.
  • Can connect finance’s plan with the overall business objectives.
  • Understands cross-functional priorities, plans and objectives.
  • Innovative and interested in implementing new ideas.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products.
