Miniclip is looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing Business Intelligence team in our Game Analytics team Lisbon (Portugal) Office. This is a full-time position, please apply only if you have the right to work in Portugal.

Miniclip is a fast-paced work environment and we are seeking enthusiastic, ambitious and proactive individual who wants to have an incredible opportunity to gain invaluable experience and knowledge in the Game Analytics space. This is a great opportunity for you to be part of a growing and dynamic Business Intelligence team, working closely with External Games team. 

Duties

You will be responsible for providing end to end support to new game integration and post game integration actionable insights that will help improve the game.

  • Conduct analyses that provide the business with insights on game performance and user behavior
  • Produce reports that help visualize your findings and include actionable insights and recommendations on areas to improve
  • Design, conduct and analyseA/B tests, leveraging appropriate statistical methods
  • Use large amounts of data to research player behavior and inform the development of new game features
  • Define and own data to be collected by the game and assure their quality
  • Design and create dashboards for ProductTeams to monitor performance KPIs
  • Deliver and present key findings around conversion values pre and post integration to help with User Acquisition activities
  • Understand and support the new game integration process by continuously improving the processes
  • Promote good data practices amongst your peers

Skills & Experience

We are looking for a sociable and hard-working person who enjoys working in a team and has a passion for the games industry and data. They will be passionate and dedicated about their work, with willingness to accept extra duties as situations arise.

The following skills are essential for the role:

  • Degree in a relevant subject
  • 2+ years of professional experience with an analytical background, providing data-driven insights, ideally with exposure to mobile gaming
  • Experienced in any domain specific language such as Ror Python (preferably R)
  • Comfortable in writing complex SQL queries
  • Gooddata visualization skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Robust mathematical/statistical background
  • Ability to not only translate data into insightsbut also able to translate business needs into data questions
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders, presenting insights clearly with actionable recommendations. This person should be an ambassador for data driven processes.
  • Good interpersonal skills with high levels of enthusiasm and a good team player
  • An ability to work in mixed teams of colleagues and senior executives
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholdersand clearly communicate schedule and priorities to stakeholders
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • A passion for games is a bonus
  • Very good written and spoken English
