We Accomplish This Goal In Two Ways

  • Strengthen the Xbox brand via fan centric marketing experiences: Plan and execute thoughtful and impactful through-line-full-funnel-marketing, focused on driving purchase intent, conversion & post purchase advocacy & consumer lifetime value for Xbox devices, content, accessories, and services.
  • Drive consumer engagement and revenue at retail: Use consumer insights, market data, store level analysis, and sales information to evaluate our business performance and develop seasonal, launch, & sustain plans to improve our partners business, win share, sell units, and drive revenue/ GM.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and execute the Xbox integrated marketing strategy for Games
  • Define and influence the various elements of the marketing mix and key retail programs within the area that will direct, and influence ROI based on the Xbox @ Retail business goals
  • Land Xbox @ retail category strategies to maximize revenue and seize new opportunities
  • Provide in depth business analysis on the Xbox performance for revenue, attach and margin
  • Work with Retail Services to land the retail channel component of a comprehensive channel marketing strategy that encompasses the People, Place, Demo and On-Line elements
  • Drive retail strategy and direction for programs, promotions and initiatives and ensure they are tailored and customized
  • Drive the overall numbers and business goals for Xbox Games line-up (1st party games line-up, physical and digital), including revenue, forecasting, contribution margin and marketing spend
  • Drive development around retailer pitch decks and presentations for tradeshows, events and account tours
  • Support the team in setting strategy and direction around account presentations and meetings

Key Success Criteria’s

  • Xbox Games 1st party revenue and unit performance
  • Strength of relationship across Xbox @ retail internal and external ecosystem
  • Landing of new 1st party Games launches
  • Successful design and implementation of Category Programs across the regions
  • Successful implementation of marketing assets across the region

Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • The successful candidate will be a strong marketer/category manager with an understanding of relevant marketing experience in the retail channel or technology fields. Deep knowledge of the Video Game industry is a plus.
  • This role requires an individual with a broad skill set encompassing excellent marketing & relationship management capabilities, with proven ability to collaborate well with cross functional groups and virtual teams to achieve specific objectives.
  • This role requires a marketer with business acumen to drive the revenue and unit targets and to be able to stay focused even when dealing with ambiguity. Equally important, this role requires a self-starter who has well developed competencies in developing retail strategies that drive customers to our Xbox product line at retail.
  • Fluency in French and English languages

Technical/Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of overall marketing mix and relevant ROI metrics that demonstrate success. A passion for Gaming.

Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong virtual team player who has the ability to deal with ambiguity and rally different groups around a single purpose to drive business results
