XTrust is looking for a Principal Product Manager to help us build world class privacy experiences that redefine customer experiences across the Gaming ecosystem. As part of Xbox Player Services (XPS), the Xbox Trust team’s goal is to ensure innovative features land in all our Gaming Products and provide a trusted, inclusive, responsible, and safe environment for gamers everywhere. The role is an exciting opportunity to take a deep understanding of customer, business, and regulatory needs to drive impact on a global scale, delight millions of customers, and support strong business growth.
Defines the long-term vision and strategy for privacy experiences based on a deep understanding of customer needs, user research, the competitive landscape, and Xbox’s business goals
Utilize customer signals and research to identify product gaps, define product capabilities, and market justification
Collaborate with teams across Microsoft to help Xbox leverage best in class technology from across the company and share what we’ve pioneered with other product teams in need
Create and communicate feature specs that span multiple feature teams and enable multi-year vision
Collaborate with internal stakeholders like marketing, legal, partner engineering teams, and your engineering feature crew to define requirements and deliver new experiences
Negotiate and influence product trade-offs impacting schedule
Adjusting product roadmap to changes in privacy regulation and internal policy
Required knowledge, experience, skills:
10+ years’ experience in Production, Program Management, or related field
5+ years' track record of delivering consumer experiences
5+ years of experience in Privacy or related compliance areas
Other helpful skills for this position include:
Demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills; an ability to drive v-teams where you have to corral inputs, dependencies and timelines of other teams
Strong ability to lead through influence, discussions, and storytelling
Experience developing products in gaming, social media, or platforms
Experience driving experimentation in software
Experience with mixed subscription/paid environments
Strong customer focus and passion for design
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or Science
Privacy certification (such as IAPP a plus)
Proven experience functioning in a regulated environment
