Job Summary

The Part-Time eSports Marketing Coordinator is responsible for execution and implementation of marketing campaigns designed to support a team’s revenue goals. The position is also responsible for developing and acquiring sponsorships and partnerships for the team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acquires sponsorships and partnerships for the team
  • Assists with negotiating sponsorships contracts
  • Participates in marketing campaigns or advertisements
  • Develops, plans and executes promotional campaigns which may include product giveaways
  • Conducts market research
  • Creates social media campaigns and manages team’s website
  • Estimates the demand for services or products
  • Develops print, billboard, and digital marketing campaigns as well as radio and television advertising spots
  • Assists with overseeing publicity, branding, and in-game advertising
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and three (3) years of experience in marketing and working in social media sports
  • All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goaIs and objectives, policies and procedures
  • Ability to analyze sports trends to develop strategies
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a team or department and communicate clearly throughout the advertising and marketing process
  • Ability to generate imaginative and innovative ideas for campaigns and promotions
  • Ability to choose which advertising or marketing strategy to pursue from a number of options
  • Knowledge of agreements, drafting contracts with sponsors
  • Ability to negotiate and reach business consensus on advertising contracts
  • Knowledge of grant writing
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignments
