Job Description

OS NYC’s mission is to create an open and welcoming home for anyone interested in gaming, content creation and streaming. OS NYC is a unique venue and event space located in the heart of New York City, situated on Bowery in Chinatown New York. This role will manage all elements of our events, inclusive of acquiring and attracting new events in the venue, maintaining current ongoing events and supporting the execution of events throughout the venue space.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and experienced events seller who also focuses on securing new events in the space and venue. Someone who has had event planning and executing experience, direct experience securing new events, logistically sound and passionate to build fun and exciting events for our membership community, clients and partners. The candidate will have a can-do mindset in a team centered, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

The primary duty of the Manager, Event Sales & Booking is to oversee all current, new and prospective events for the OS NYC flagship venue, including logistical needs, executional duties and innovative ideation. The responsibility of this role is to ensure the highest level of event experience for members, clients and attendees, which will include:

New Events

  • Identifying and securing new events
  • Consistent outbound communication and acquiring of new events in the venue
  • Reporting new events to OS NYC team
  • Creating plans to meet set KPIs for events alongside the General Manager
  • Manage third party booking sites such as Splacer, Giggster and SocialTable

Current Events

  • Outlining, executing and managing needs for all events in the OS NYC venue
  • Point of contact for all third party event leads
  • Collect feedback and implement feedback that improves the event

Events Programming

  • Ideating and constructing fun, new events and activations
  • Ensuring there is an OS NYC membership-first lens to all programming and events in the venue space

Performance Tracking

  • Produce weekly and monthly reports that share current events calendar and new events calendar with General Manager

KPIs

  • Membership community, Partner and Customer satisfaction of events
  • Revenue based on third party events held
  • Successful and consistent exclusive membership specific events
