Release Engineer - Fall Guys

WHAT WE DO

We are looking for a Release Engineer to join Mediatonic.

Mediatonic is the game developer behind Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and a new member of the Epic Games family. We’re aiming to build "the Greatest Gameshow on Earth" as part of our mission to connect people through massively-multiplayer game experiences.

We take pride in crafting original titles that bring people together. Our quest is to create joyful experiences that are open to all by investing in the ideas, technologies and people that can bring our vision to life.

We’re looking for fantastic people to join our world-class team to help grow Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout into an entertainment platform and to nurture the other equally ambitious titles we’re dreaming up.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Support the game teams by ensuring stability of game code and improving the build pipeline.

In this role, you will

  • Identify issues with and make architectural improvements to our build pipeline
  • Assist with preparing release branches, and ensuring work is merged into them and from them
  • Contribute to reviewing critical PRs to ensure release is feature-complete and stable, as well as working with the team to ensure PRs have enough visibility
  • Working with QA to triage issues, find owners or even implement your own solutions
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams by helping to unblock their work
  • Some "red team" security analysis of the releases and associated infrastructure

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with git/P4/general VCS experience, incl. GUI tools such as Fork or Sourcetree.
  • Console experience nice to have
  • Windows / Mac / Linux
  • Unity 3d, C#
  • Unreal Engine, C++
  • Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Experience using build platforms - Jenkins, TeamCity, Ant, Make etc…
