Media Molecule is a video game development studio based in Guildford in the UK, and a proud member of the PlayStation Worldwide Studios. We are the creators of the multi-award winning games LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2, Tearaway, Tearaway Unfolded and we're currently building the next generation of Play, Create and Share for PlayStation 4: Dreams.

Location: Our studio in Guildford, with 2-3 days remote working flexibility, depending on current work requirements.

Role: We are searching for a talented, self-motivated Network Infrastructure Engineer to use their knowledge and experience to drive our studio network systems forward.

You will be a key member of a growing IT team, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining key network infrastructure within the Studio. This is a huge opportunity for the successful candidate to make an impact in a newly created role.

Key Competencies:

  • Enterprise Routing & Switching WAN/LAN (Juniper QFX, Cisco Nexus)
  • Network methodologies including VPC, EVPN-VXLAN, Virtual Chassis
  • Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Firewall, VPN (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, ASA)
  • Remote Access Technologies (Pulse Secure, Meraki)
  • Wireless Technologies (Aruba, Mist)
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative
  • Be able to confidently convey complex technical ideas and principles to other members of the team and key stakeholders
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyse data, then recommend an appropriate solution
  • Able to plan projects and work through the project from implementation to operation

  • Relevant network industry certification
