Massive we are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join the Ubisoft Connect team. As part of the team, you will develop, design and deploy features in different parts of our player-facing client applications as well as other products in the ecosystem.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team where everyone is willing to expand their knowledge and encouraged to continue learning new things. The team is characterized by knowledge and the love for pc gaming. You will work in close collaboration with the other programmers, designers and testers to support us realize the Ubisoft PC gaming platform, with the opportunity to visit and work from collaborating studios.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and maintain existing frontend features
  • Develop and maintain build- and CI/CD pipelines
  • Write clean, maintainable, and standards-compliant code
  • Participate in the agile artifacts like planning, standups and retrospectives
  • Take part in code reviews, architectural discussions and being part of making our code base great

You will be using a variety of technologies and programming languages, including but not limited to HTML, JavaScript / TypeScript, CSS / SCSS and frontend frameworks like Vue.js and Angular.

Qualifications

You as a person

You are a result focused person, who is excited about developing a software platform for games with millions of users. You believe in team ownership of what you craft and will be working with your colleagues to learn, discuss ideas and solve complex problems as well as supporting the more junior developers. Furthermore, the performance, readability and maintainability of both your code and the build tools is something you care about. Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:

  • Production experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js)
  • Professional experience of setting up a single-page application and contributing to designing a maintainable architecture
  • Experience of mentoring more junior developers
  • We believe your main interest and experience has been focused on JavaScript, TypeScript or ES6, HTML and stylesheet languages (CSS, SCSS, etc.)
  • Experience with common JavaScript tools and toolchains (e.g., webpack) and JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
