Job Description

Massive Entertainment’s Corporate Communications team is looking for a passionate Graphic Designer to be part of our exciting journey. Your role will combine creativity, storytelling, and technology to create inspirational graphic communication that engages target audiences and trigger an interest for the brand with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of both internal and external assets with the goal to tell the story of Massive and ensure that our corporate brand shines.

Together with the team and stakeholders, you will define and research incoming briefs and secure that the suggested solution meets the communication needs and purposes in the best way possible. This will require an analytical mindset and strong skills in boiling down issues and ideas to the relevant essentials.

An important part of your role as Graphic Designer is to take lead in planning and to oversee that your contribution is in line with studio goals. As a Graphic Designer you also ensure that all communication you plan and lead is in line with the Massive and Ubisoft tone of voice. You will also be an important part of exploring and creating new ways of working, including tools, methods, and processes.

You are updated on trends in communication connected to layout design in both digital and print environment, and you stay on top of all relevant guidelines and steering documents such as the brand guidelines for Massive and Ubisoft.

This is a temporarily position for 1 year, with the possibility of being extended. The role is based in Malmö Sweden and requires working onsite. Responsibilities

  • Create coherent visual design and make sure brand guidelines are understood and followed
  • Deliver compelling design for a broad range of digital channels and print material such as campaigns, ads, website, newsletters, marketing material, images, infographics and motion design
  • Work with different in-house teams and external partners in setting the right tonality in our different communication channels
  • Be part of both smaller and larger design projects

Qualifications

You as a person

You’re motivated by curiosity and creativity. With your passion for creating content, you have the ability to adapt to creative challenges as well as taking on tasks that may not be as challenging. We believe you to be a collaborative thinker who excels in teams. You are an independent self-starter that has strong communication skills.

Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:

  • A relevant portfolio of your artwork/designs
  • Previous experience of graphic design, preferably from the gaming or entertainment industry
  • Confident in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or similar
  • Experience giving detailed feedback and communicating with multiple stakeholders, including both internal teams and external partners
  • Experience with corporate communications
  • Deep interest in creating high-quality content and care more about quality than quantity
  • Knowledge of in-game capture and video editing preferred
  • 3D/Motion graphics experience desirable
  • Any photography/videography skills would be a plus
