We create mobile games that are incredibly fun and can be enjoyed by players for a very very long time. Our first game blends casual resource management with merge-puzzle mechanics and a light metagame. We approach development as “data driven artists” who believe that an idea is only good if it works for the players. That’s why we develop in rapid iterative phases, being both passionate and data driven.

You will join an interdisciplinary team of very experienced game professionals covering all aspects of design, art, engineering, business intelligence, user acquisition as well as company leadership.

We operate in a fully remote set up, building on a culture that is based on clarity, empowerment and trust. In order to protect everyone’s work life balance we offer fully remote engagement restricted to “CET +/- 1 hour”. We also support you with designing and equipping a proper remote work set up.

This is an opportunity for an experienced 2D Game Artist to join a team of seasoned game-makers and their well funded and quickly growing start-up!

We are looking for a humble team player with strong curiosity in others’ views, and a desire to introduce fun games to millions of people.

Responsibilities:

  • Create amazing and consistent 2D characters, backgrounds and props from the first concept to the final asset ready for implementation;
  • Build the world of the game keeping technical and artistic requirements in mind;
  • Understand and empathize with the audience to create art they love;
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the game development industry (4+ years);
  • Strong demonstrable artistic knowledge (line, shape, composition, light, color, rendering, etc.);
  • Deep understanding of design, including architectural elements and props;
  • Experience creating isometric worlds;
  • Familiarity with tiling processes;
  • Basics of Unity would be an additional super power.
