We are seeking an Editorial Manager who will be the chief strategist for our use of new social media tools and form a core part of our publishing team.

What drives your passion for esports? How would you grow our competitions through digital & social channels? If you can answer these questions, we want to hear from you.

Ideal candidate is:

  • Deeply knowledgeable and passionate about esports, & gaming, and has a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, plus a bachelors degree in communications or marketing.
  • Capable of multi-tasking: performs various tasks simultaneously, while maintaining a focus to detail.
  • Good at time management, organized and able to efficiently execute editorial judgment.
  • Someone with excellent written and communication skills, capable of conveying clear and concise messages.
  • Someone who commands various computer systems: InDesign, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Twitch, LOL analytics and the rules of the game.
  • Experienced in pulling and interpreting data to find insights and takeaways as well as trends related to content types, channels etc.
  • Someone with a background in digital, social, video, photos and graphics production/editing.
  • Analytical: understands social analytics & trends, and knows the best types of content to use on respective platforms.

Pluses:

  • Advanced degrees in Communication or related field
  • Experience in influencer marketing
  • Contract management experience
  • Avid social media user who is always experimenting with the next social platforms and trends

What you will be doing:

  • Set the editorial line for LVP channels.
  • Ensure that the narratives we develop and the stories that we tell are relevant for UK players and are representative of a player-focused approach.
  • Work with our staff members to effectively engage our community.
  • Identify, craft, and distribute content (video, photo, statistics) for the LVPuk -Forge of Champions social and digital platforms.
  • Coordinate publishing campaigns for product launches, being responsible for aligning all teams working on it, organizing execution and tracking results afterwards.
  • Provide on-site coverage of games & events when necessary.
  • Research and introduce new ideas for the league’s social and digital platforms and actively participate in league meetings to better understand how content can best support multiple business objectives.
  • Identify and address opportunities and problems that player’s might experience.
