Job Brief
We are looking for a Content Writer to work on a paid freelance basis to provide high-quality blog posts and guides.
You have good insight into the world of content creation within esports and gaming and stay up to date with the latest trends in streaming and content production. You are creative and able to generate ideas for new content types.
The blog posts and guides aim to boost the Lurkit brand while helping new, upcoming and full-time content creators by providing useful tips and tricks on how to become a better creator.
We highly appreciate samples of your previous work - feel free to attach any published articles and/or portfolio to your application.
Responsibilities
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Ensure consistency in representing and developing the Lurkit voice and tonality
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Medium and Zendesk
- Submit work to the Lurkit Marketing team for input and approval
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., Medium, Wordpress)
- Ability to meet deadlines
