Luminosity Gaming is looking for a talented, creative, and energetic Social Media Manager. Reporting into the VP, Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will play a huge role in the continuing development and expansion of our brand across all social media channels.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating original social media content, managing posts, and working with a team of content creators and community managers to create best-in-class social media content campaigns.
- Accountable for planning and executing social media campaigns around on-going events and marketing objectives.
- Responsible for social media coverage of Luminosity teams and players participating in tournaments globally.
- Would be expected to absorb and embody the Luminosity voice to communicate brand messaging and tone across social platforms.
- Would be expected to work alongside the marketing team, and be able to harness research and best practices to deliver content on a variety of social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in a field related to Marketing, Social Media, Comms etc.
- 3-5 years of previous experience working directly in social media related roles.
- Experience working within a greater MarComm group - understands how to write a brief, etc.
- Experience with social advertising, with an understanding of what successful campaigns look like on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch.
- Expert in Social trends and technology.
- Organized and detail-oriented with exceptional sense of accountability.
- Previous hands-on experience in: social media management, community management, content management, copy-writing, and/or online marketing.
- esports experience considered a huge asset.
