Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Environment Artist. The Senior Environment Artist will be responsible for creating visually stunning game environments using Autodesk Maya, implementing lighting techniques, and refining texturing on assets. The Senior Environment Artist will work closely with the team to shape the visual aesthetics of our games and bring the world to life for players.

Luminary has secured a $500,000 RUV allocation on AngelList in the pre-seed stage. This funding will be used for hiring talent, the best talent possible in game development, developing the best games possible not seen in any medium.

  • Proficiency in Level Design, Lighting, and Texturing
  • Experience in Autodesk Maya
  • Knowledge of game development principles and processes
  • Strong artistic and creative skills

  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience with other art software and tools is a plus
  • Degree in Game Design, Fine Arts, or related field is preferred
