The Role:

In the role of Senior KAM Southern Africa, reporting to Cluster Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Logitech Business across the Personal Workspace and Gaming Categories.

Senior KAM Southern Africa function is to determine and drive Logitech’s business in the Southern African Region with Primary focus on Mauritius, Angola and Namibia as tier 1 countries. This will include developing retail channels, B2B and also identifying key Distributors by country & regions to assist with distribution and marketing of the Logitech Brand. Additional Commercial opportunity would be potential Government & Corporate customers.

The Senior KAM Southern Africa must be an analytical consummate Sales Professional with extensive experience in Export Markets, including setting up new Distributors where required by Country. The successful candidate must also possess Key Account Management Skills.

In this role, you will grow the Personal Workspace and Gaming business for Southern Africa (Tier 1 Countries and other) through active new business development. In this role your responsibilities will be to:

  • Focus on government organizations.
  • Focus on top 50 corporate end users.
  • Focus on channel development.
  • Implement new Distributor Model where needed.
  • Develop existing B2B channels and gain market share for both categories.
  • Ownership of Southern Africa business plan and execution on the ground.

The Role Responsibilities:

  • Meet revenue goals for Southern Africa region in an intense, rapidly changing and quarterly-driven environment.
  • Design a strategy to tap the full potential of the Region.
  • Target the top government organizations & top 50 Corporate Enterprise end users.
  • Introduce and implement new product categories and key-Initiatives to new and current channels.
  • Full 360 Degree Management of Distributor Model.
  • Own, drive, develop the demand process with input from Category and Marketing Managers.
  • Business development by identifying cross & up-selling opportunity within key channels & customer portfolios.
  • Maintain an accurate and updated business plan with all relevant figures and activities per channel per account.
  • Set up regular product trainings for all relevant stakeholders.
  • On time delivery of weekly activity report including implemented and planned activities, turnover overview vs. budget and next week objectives.

Key Qualifications:

  • For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Cross Country Southern African Markets and setting up new Distribution and SLA Agreements.
  • Excellent Commercial acumen and ability to drive revenue growth linked to aggressive Country specific targets.
  • Proven track record in planning and execution.
  • Hands-on mentality and able to manage entire sales cycle.
  • Self-motivated, results driven.
  • Excel in collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Influential communicator and great presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken is mandatory.
  • Excellent Microsoft excel or Google sheet skills.
  • The role requires extensive travel (50% +) within the region.

Education:

Preferable Bachelor degree within Sales & Marketing, or 5 Year + work experience within the following industries; IT, FMCG and Consumer Electronics.
