As the key member of EMEA Total Rewards team, the Senior Benefits Analyst will oversee benefits provision in the region and will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of benefits programs to ensure the competitiveness, compliance and communication to support regional Total Rewards portfolio. This role will report to the Head of Total Rewards EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage benefits renewal process in EMEA including data support as well as contract review and negotiation
  • Act as a main contact person for Mercer regional benefits management central service as well as country partners
  • Manage regional Total Rewards vendors, liaise with HR Operations for support with procurement and accounts payable processes
  • Support the Head of Total Rewards EMEA with planning, developing, and redesigning benefits programs and analyzing benefit costs in the region
  • Drive benefits communication in the region: manage benefits-related intranet content as well as ensure new-hire orientation and recruitment materials are up-to-date
  • Maintain compliance of any existing and new benefits programs and make necessary updates in line with current/changing legislation
  • Work with the EMEA regional benefits operations lead to ensure successful benefit administration and interface with the HR Operations team.
  • Support site HR business partners with benefits queries
  • Act as a main contact for HR Operations for escalation of benefits related queries
  • Lead implementation of global benefit programs in the region
  • Keep abreast of market data and trends in order to determine the company’s competitive position in employee benefits.
  • Support other projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level in HR Management, Business Administration or another related field
  • Proven track record of managing benefit contracts renewals in a multi-country environment
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities
  • Working knowledge of HR (preferably Workday), payroll and benefits systems and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence decision making and ownership
  • Ability to be a self-starter and to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience in a benefits management role within a complex multinational environment
