The Role
The Mechanical Engineering Manager is responsible for mechanical design in audio speaker products, collaborating with team members and manufacturing partners to achieve cost, schedule and performance objectives.
He is also responsible for managing post-production change requests and sustaining activities for products in the speaker portfolio.

In this role you will:
- Responsible for mechanical design in new audio speaker development and sustaining activities, including Desktop speaker, Soundbar and Bluetooth mobile speaker
- Collaborate with internal functional teams and external manufacturing partners in resolving mechanical issues
- Review product requirement and define engineering product specifications
- Optimize design with the consideration of cost, quality, manufacturability, sustainability and environmental requirement
- Define engineering qualification plan and work with manufacturing partner or contractor to execute, review and approve the qualification
- Explore new technology in manufacturing to fulfill product design requirements
Key Qualifications
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
- Good knowledge in the mechanical design, plastic injection tooling, metal die, and secondary process for mechanical components
- Experience in mechanical design and analysis tools - ProE, ANSYS, Moldflow evaluation.
- Experience in consumer electronics industry
- A good team player with strong problem solving, communication and negotiation skills
- Good command of written & spoken English & Chinese, with proficiency in Mandarin
- Willing to travel

- 8 years+ working experience

Education
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines
