Position at Logitech

The Head of Sales Operations, Video Collaboration Sales & GTM will be responsible for owning, developing and driving all business strategy, data science, compensation and operations processes, and field enablement planning for the VC Commercial business worldwide; creating evaluating, and optimising data sets and sales applications in support of highly effective sales acquisition and customer retention teams for Global and Midmarket Enterprises, Foundational businesses (SMB), Government and Education institutions throughout the world. Reporting into the Head of Video Collaboration Sales & GTM, this executive will be a key leader to ensuring the tying the global fiscal business plan (50,000 ft view) to the quarterly and annual results and metrics (on the ground view) to ensure real time, agile adjustment to market, geopolitical, and Logitech conditions in order to accelerate the division’s hyper-growth trajectory; a business that in FY15 was 2m in sales and is now on a fast trajectory to achieve b in global revenue.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned global Sales Operations leader from the enterprise hardware and software industry with expertise in building business strategies in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Channels, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, and Operations stakeholders. He/She must also be an outstanding leader of people; capable of managing multiple complex projects and initiatives and support efforts with a "hands on" player-coach style that affords a high degree of personal interaction with the process. This leader must also have an entrepreneurial approach and urgency to match their commercial aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the global Video Collaboration (VC) Sales & GTM Sales Operations Business Planning, Sales Effectiveness, Data Science, Field Enablement, and Customer Zero/One strategies.
  • Lead, build-out and develop a worldwide sales operations function that spans business reporting and initiative measurement and monetization, investment ROI, horizon one, two, and three planning, as well as, ‘Logitech as a customer and best customer use case’ in partnership with VC Commercial stakeholders.
  • Develop, own, and continuously validate the global VC Sales and GTM plan and growth strategy.
  • Establish and manage a global forecasting, pipeline management, and complementary demand planning model for Sales and Marketing.
  • Manage and deliver global compensation planning, quota setting, and commissions operations processes.
  • Create an Enterprise data science practice for collection and use of business intelligence such that it is a means to validate and monetize planning assumptions; course correct for real time GTM execution; and define horizon one, two, and three strategies.
  • Partner directly with Finance to regularly measure P&L performance, growth, and productivity by market, region, and geography and validate annual business planning

  • A minimum of 20 years of senior strategy, business planning, operations leadership roles responsible for driving enterprise technology solutions into Fortune 1000 and/or SLE institutions globally.
  • You should prefer building and growing teams versus maintaining what already exists.
  • Experience working with enterprise reseller DMR, Distribution, SP, integrator, and VAR channels.
  • Preferably, you should have carried a quota or led sales and/or channels teams in your historical experience.
  • Expertise leading forecasting and pipeline management processes globally.
  • Track record of goal achievements in an intense, fast-paced, rapidly changing and results-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing + building global organization of 50 people or greater.
  • An influential leader who does not require positional power to drive change and growth in a fast growing global business environment.
  • An ability to maintain order during times of rapid company growth.
  • A means to process and evaluate data effectively tying business intelligence and insights to outcomes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for customer engagement to maximize customer relations, sales performance expectations in key performance areas, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven track record and experience leveraging frameworks for business planning and GTM strategies.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with experience maintaining business plans, leading through key metrics and ROI both to deliver results and formulate strategy.
  • A scrappy, hands-on approach and willingness to do what is needed to support your teams and drive the business forward with speed and flexibility.
  • An innovation mindset. Be willing to always try new things, make bets, and take calculated risks.
  • Experience managing culturally and geographically diverse teams, particularly in countries throughout Europe and Asia.
