The Role:

The EE Manager is responsible for electrical engineering development in audio speaker products, collaborating with team members and manufacturing partners to achieve cost, schedule and performance objectives. He is also responsible for managing post-production change requests and sustaining activities for products in the speaker portfolio.

In this role you will:

  • Responsible for electrical design in new audio speaker development and sustaining activities, including Desktop speaker, Soundbar and Bluetooth mobile speaker.
  • Collaborate with internal functional teams and external manufacturing partners in resolving electrical and RF issues, deliver product with good acoustic and user experience
  • Review product requirement and define engineering product specifications
  • Optimize design with the consideration of cost, quality, manufacturability, sustainability and environmental requirement
  • Define EE qualification plan, perform sample testing and trouble-shooting. Work with manufacturing partner to execute, review and approve the qualification
  • Liaise with IC supplier and explore chipset and EE solution to fulfill product design requirements

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Good knowledge in the electrical design and chipset solution
  • Experience in Schematic and PCB layout design tools - (Oracd, PADs, Allegro)
  • Experience in Audio Precision audio analyzer for audio measurement and troubleshooting
  • Experience in Class D and Class AB power amplifier
  • Experience in basic 2.4G RF and SMPS/Battery Power knowledge
  • Experience in consumer electronics industry
  • A good team player with strong problem solving, communication and negotiation skills
  • Good command of written & spoken English & Chinese, with proficiency in Mandarin
  • Willing to travel
  • In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
  • Experience in the development of audio speaker products
  • 8 years+ working experience
  • Exposure in multi-cultural international company

Education:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines
