The Role:

We are hiring a Manager for Supply Chain & Asset Recovery. This role will be responsible for managing and executing asset recovery. Maximising the financial recovery from returned product, defining and maintaining category specific strategies for recovery, business case preparation, and the tracking and reporting of market trends for refurbishment and liquidation. This role will be fundamental in contributing to maximising sustainable and financial enhancements to the asset recovery of returned products.

Your Contribution:

  • Use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios which will be presented on an ongoing basis to the management team.
  • Drive and facilitate the development of improved processes in Asset Recovery for Refurbishment, Recycling/Scrap, Product Donationations, Liquidation, etc.
  • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
  • Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
  • Conduct financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic business planning.
  • Work effectively across a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Build positive working relationships and drive strong team engagement, effectively manage escalations
  • Prepare and maintain business cases.
  • Develop primary and secondary market studies to support of strategic planning and marketing initiatives, presenting findings to team functions and management
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issue
  • Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of all the activities related to asset recovery, inventory control and after sales/returns.
  • Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organizational financial documents.
  • Develop and recommend new business strategies responding to changing business landscapes.
  • Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models

Key Qualifications:

  • Well-developed communication skills (verbal and written), with strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to work strong as an independent as well as in a team setting.
  • Ability to interact and establish solid relationships across the organization.
  • Experience in operational service vendor management.
  • Project Management Experience and the ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment is essential.
  • Bachelor of Business / Computer Science / Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualification or work experience.
  • 8+ years experience in roles with focus on financial and operational management.
