Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the Head of Customer Propositions will own, imagine and execute our strategic commercial offerings that partner with our customers for the enrichment of their content, and enable for them to better engage their customers. This enrichment will cover the full lifecycle of content, from deeply understanding source content, appending value as it flows through our platforms, to human translation or verification as needed. This role will need to think independent of specific delivery platforms, and join up a narrative that encompasses both direct submission through a Lionbridge owned site or mechanism, through the effective integration into appropriate 3rd party solutions via APIs/Connectors.
This role is as much as matrix leader interfacing with platform product groups, technology, marketing, operations, customer success and sales, as it is a direct manager, where it will manage a team of product managers that own those client interfaces.
The role will have accountability for the full product lifecycle from inception/market research, through delivery and end-of-life, and will be expected to be as comfortable discovering and evangelizing macro industry trends, as it will be diving into nitty gritty details of our products.
What You Will Do
- Own the long term vision for our offerings, anchoring strategy in customer and industry research
- Create a simplified proposition narrative and roadmap that allows us to collect content from, and deliver it back to, our customers in a frictionless way
- Identify new customer personas/problems that we can service, and build the business cases to support those investments
- Ensure we build simple, elegant B2B offerings that deliver a B2C/app like experience to enable and drive content flow
- Represent proposition function both internally and externally with customers

- 10-15 years of demonstrated experiencing with full cycle product management, including taking new products to successful commercial launch
- An ability to quickly synthesize information, and navigate from very high-level industry trends, to specific product features and details
- Comfort working across a matrix organization, and experience growing/coaching a team of direct reports
- A track record of managing content/workflow products for B2B customers in excess of $100m, and an understanding of current and emerging technology such as AI/NML, data lakes, cloud environments, API/connectors
- Localization industry experience a plus, but not required
