Limitless Games is a recently created AAA video game studio in Barcelona. The studio is currently in the process of developing a new game. The game is a COOP Action RPG set in a fantasy/Sci-fi universe.

We are looking for a talented Visual Effect Artist to lead the VFX team. The Lead Visual Artist will work in coordination with the Art Director and Game Director to create Visual Effect that will help the player decipher and navigate the game in a satisfying manner

Responsibility:

• Lead and direct the team to meet the art direction and game design needs.
• Work in coordination with artist, animators, designers, programmer and sound designer to Create visual effects that support the game experience:
• Create visual effects of player spells.
• Create visual effects for boss fights.
• Create visual effects for enemies’ encounter.
• Support UX for the creation of satisfying feedback.
• Uses particle systems, shaders, and mesh effects.
• Help with bug finding and fixing related to your work.

Qualification:

• Prior experience in a position of leadership.
• Prior experience in the video game industry as VFX artist.
• Mastery of Photoshop, Maya and/or After effect for the creation of texture and effects.
• Experience with 3ds Max modeling and UV mapping.
• Communication and organizational skills.
  
• Experience working with Unreal.
• Experience with FumeFX, RealFlow, Niagara, Houdini etc. a plus.
  
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
