We are looking for a dedicated Social Media And Content Manager in Istanbul who wants to be a part of our amazing team. Here is a quick summary of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence on Discord, Instagram, YouTube etc.
  • Contributing to planning sessions that drive the creation of our daily content calendar
  • Reporting – Weekly & Monthly Reports: reporting, tracking and measuring all activities using performance metrics and benchmarks
  • Creating content for both organic, boosted and paid formats, with a clear understanding of the nuances between the three
  • Staying up to date on all social media trends
  • Research trends and shifts in SEO, social media, and marketing strategies to inform and educate the marketing and content team on important updates, changes, and opportunities
  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification
  • Plan, create, publish and share new content (including original text, images, video and code) on a daily basis that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness and encourages community members to engage with the brand
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Monitor SEO and customer engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Moderate user-generated content in line with the moderation policy
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, then use that information to refine future campaigns
  • Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets

Qualifications

  • At least 1-year experience in the gaming industry or interest in video games, esports, or related entertainment industry with social media management experience.
  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • Effective time management and project management skills
  • An understanding of how Social Media content/formats/channels can be used together to hit key objectives & KPIs
  • Experience of working within a Social Media team and confident building relationships within other teams
  • Being a result-oriented, self-motivated, and data-driven mindset
  • Speaking and writing proficiency in English, Native in Turkish and strong verbal and written communication skills is essential
  • Excited by social media and how it is used to engage and grow a fanbase
