With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games. We are now looking for a Systems Administrator to manage our Studio Infrastructure and IT in Guildford, UK.

Responsibilities

• Set up Infrastructure that enables game development and creation
• On-site support to end users
• Actively identify potential improvements
• Support local events
• Improving company-wide security infrastructure
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
• Develop and maintain installation, design, and configuration procedures and documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as IT specialist
• Exceptional communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work well in teams, to cooperate and communicate with individuals and stakeholders from various backgrounds and hierarchical levels
• Easily able to adapt to changing conditions in a fast paced environment
• Strong knowledge of general operating systems, virtual machines, server environments
• Networking and security solutions experience
• Must be based in UK

Nice to haves

• Working experience with multiple Atlassian tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, FishEye, etc.
• Experience with Perforce
