We are looking for a passionate UI Artist to join the Lakshya Digital team. You will be responsible for the creation of the game’s UI elements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making games, strong artistic fundamentals, and a player-focused mindset to design user interfaces and HUD display systems that are visually appealing, intuitive, and effective.
Reporting
The UI Artist will report to the Producer.
Responsibilities and Duties
Create and implement interface assets, including menus, HUDs, icons, animations, and more.
Interact and collaborate with team members from different disciplines (design, programming, art) on prototypes, focusing on the user experience.
Create mood boards, mockups, and other simple prototypes to consolidate the visual direction and design intentions.
Develop, apply, and maintain a consistent artistic standard across the entire game.
Minimum Qualifications
Proficiency in video game editing and development tools.
Experience in visual design or a related field.
Strong work ethic, self-direction, and artistic vision.
Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
Understanding of usability principles and information architecture.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with team members across multiple disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) and interest in Unreal Engine 5 (UE5).
A keen eye for UX design and a passion for visual communication.
Highly creative and innovative spirit.
