JOB SUMMARY:

Based in Birmingham, UK and reporting to the Regional Director โ€“ KontrolFreek, the Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in effectively managing the regional planning and execution processes on KontrolFreek in EMEA.

As Business Development Manager for KontrolFreek, you will be responsible for the sales, profit and marketing activities of the KontrolFreek brand in EMEA.

Working in close harmony with the regional sales and marketing teams across EMEA, you will be participating in/driving the Key Account sales to major distributors, retailers and e-tailers throughout the regions, while developing business with existing and new customers, and identifying areas for development to meet sales targets.

The Business Development Manager will engage in continuous planning with internal stakeholders and external partners in the channel, i.e. with regards to introductions of new products, events and ongoing sales campaigns.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience working within the Consumer Electronics / Gaming Peripheral business, either at a vendor, distributor or retailer
  • Proven ability to bring new brands to market, including creating and executing GTM strategies across different verticals
  • P&L knowledge and a solid understanding of what drives a healthy P&L
  • You are good at building strong relationships, with internal and external stakeholders in both Sales and Marketing
  • Great experience in working with in-depth account planning, to make sure that expected sales align with forecast and budget

NECESSARY SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of consumer e-tail/retail market and understanding of consumer behavior
  • Experience working with data to run a sell-out driven approach
  • A hands-on attitude and an outgoing personality
  • Ability to use MS Excel on an intermediate level or higher
  • Fluent in English, other languages is a plus

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the business development of KontrolFreek across EMEA.
  • Drive a profitable growth model, working directly with the Regional Sales & Marketing teams, to shape, budget and deliver the full P&L for KontrolFreek.
  • Together with the local sales teams, build account and marketing plans that outlines the strategy to maximize the total account revenue
  • Lead a 6-month rolling campaign planning process across the regions for all key accounts, ensuring that local execution of the global campaign strategy for KontrolFreek is happening.
  • Work with the regional marketing managers, to execute and operationalize a customer-centric marketing strategy that drives sell-out in retail
  • Administrative responsibilities to ensure achievement of sales revenue targets and high levels of customer satisfaction
