Summary:
As the Senior Producer at Kongregate’s Chicago studio, you will oversee the efficient operation of the team that is responsible for bringing our next major game to life. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and artists to build a game that is an evolution of our biggest titles, Animation Throwdown and TMNT: Mutant Madness. We are excited for you to bring professional experience that sets the standard of excellence as a producer at our company.
Responsibilities:
- Guide our next major game from pre-production through global release and live operations
- Develop, maintain, and communicate realistic project schedules
- Advocate for the well-being of the team and inspire them to do their best work
- Collaborate with discipline leads to determine project staffing, budgets, and scope
- Identify process inefficiencies, then propose and implement solutions
- Leverage Jira and Confluence to manage all aspects of agile production
- Run efficient and effective Scrum meetings
- Become a trusted mentor for the production discipline across Kongregate
- Mitigate project risks through proactive analysis and planning
- Coordinate a team that spans multiple locations and time zones
- Empower the team to put our values of quality and creativity into practice
You Have:
- 3+ years experience in live-operations-oriented production
- Passion for developing games and nurturing polished products
- Knowledge of the mobile free-to-play games business
- Solid background in agile/scrum methodologies
- Ability to be decisive while considering and respecting conflicting perspectives
- Leadership experience (direct people management, heading up projects, mentorship)
