Summary:

As a Temporary Brand Marketing Coordinator, you will be a key member of our Marketing team and will be responsible for building Kongregate’s official social channels and voice. You will have the opportunity to learn all areas of mobile game marketing from experts in the field, including branding, PR, social media management, community management, and growth marketing. You’ll have a direct hand in creating the look and image of Kongregate as a brand. This is a temporary position.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop social media strategies to include company messaging and respond to followers on our owned social media channels.
  • Track and measure impressions, engagement rates, and other key metrics; grow our overall social media presence.
  • Develop brand messaging that showcases our company’s internal culture and values.
  • Leverage opportunities to engage employees in employment branding efforts.
  • Create social media assets and content for use on our channels, including blog posts, creatives, copy, and more.
  • Schedule and execute our company’s social media messaging.
  • Work closely with marketing creatives and product marketing managers to develop brand marketing campaigns.
  • Work with third-party press relations agencies to pitch stories & write public-facing company news and press releases.
  • Report key performance metrics to stakeholders and managers.

You Have:

  • Quantitative degree or equivalent experience (Marketing, Communications, Business etc.).
  • 1+ Years in social media marketing and/or community management, ideally with a focus on brand marketing and PR.
  • An understanding of social media and sentiment tracking tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout, Sprinklr.
  • A demonstrated familiarity with Photoshop and other Adobe design products.
  • Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills.
  • An established ability to adjust voice and tone to meet a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, is self-motivated, and works well in high stress environments.
  • Ability to analyze data and track KPIs to provide data-driven solutions; to communicate successes and areas for improvement to stakeholders.
  • Solid communication skills and willingness to learn new concepts.

This position is for our Portland, OR office, but we are open to remote work. If remote, you must keep Pacific time zone business hours.
