What you'll be doing:

  • Research requirements, analysis, design, and coding of software for North American and International markets.
  • Formulates and designs software system, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
  • Works with other departments as needed to resolve issues reported from the field.
  • Reports to management any discrepancies or problems requiring resolution.
  • In conjunction with Software Engineering Manager, provide direction to Software Engineering project team.
  • Collaborates with teams of engineers, designers, artists, and others as necessary to ensure quality and market criteria.
  • Analyzes new technologies and leads in technical vision of new projects or product lines.
  • Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
  • Establishes current and long-range objectives, plans, policies, timelines and game design and completion schedules of product releases.
  • Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Integrates and tests software for releases.
  • Provides documentation to support releases.
  • Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Complies with the company’s regulatory guidelines and corporate policies at all times.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding the company, products and employee information.

What we want you to have:

Bachelor's degree (BSCS, BSEE, or BSCE) from a four-year college or university (or higher degree) required. A Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred.

Minimum 12 years related experience within gaming industry within North America and Canada. C, C++, OOP proficiency, game engine, and game development. High Level Design and implementation of real time embedded systems in a Linux and Windows environment. Gaming regulations, gaming protocol (SAS, G2S, etc.), metering, and progressive knowledge is required.
