Part-time Web Developer (f/m/d)

Do you enjoy building engaging websites? Have a solid mix of frontend and backend development experience, with an affinity for UX/UI design? Passionate about taking ownership of diverse website tasks and delivering them on schedule? If so, this is the ideal role for you!

We’re looking for a developer with tested business experience to manage and maintain WordPress websites, including front-end tasks like applying custom templates, backend experience with API integrations, and website speed optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all website related tasks and fixes for the company, pertaining to both alterations to the company website, including backend tasks
  • Collaborate with other teams to attend to support tasks, and provide the best possible technical solutions
  • Analyze technical feasibility of feature implementation and point out potential issues
  • Handle API integrations, and website performance optimization
  • Able to work part-time (15-20 hours per week), contract length is initially 6 months with the possibility to the extended based on performance and business needs

Required skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with publicly visible WordPress pages
  • Experience with Google analytics analysis and working with data
  • Experience with Google Data Studio
  • Applying designs from Figma, AI, or Adobe XD to WordPress sites
  • Experience in website performance optimization (reducing loading times, for example through CDN)

Desirable skills

  • SEO Experience UX/UI
  • Design knowledge
  • Implementing API’s into backend, and data extraction and processing
  • German skills will be considered a plus
