We are seeking a 3D mid-level artist with experience related to Organic or Hard Surface 3D artwork and environment structures. You can find below the description of the organic and hard surface job family:

Organic Modeling/Texturing Artist Job Family

The Organic Modeling/Texturing artist candidate will be experienced with translating 2D concepts into full 3D assets such as Creatures, Cloth, Hair, Fur, and Characters. They will support our growing game development team working for AAA/PC/Console and Mobile products for our clients.

Requirements

  • Hard Surface Modeling/Texturing

Responsibilities

  • Create models, UV map, textures, and materials for creatures, characters, and environment terrain, vegetation.
  • Translate concept art and design ideas into 3D.
  • Help develop final look of organic models
  • Help set and maintain the high-quality bar for the game projects.
  • Assist in scoping work for on time milestone deliveries.
  • Support concept phase with 3D explorations.
  • Help design modular and technical workflows to support gameplay features.
  • Provide Consistent & Quality results.

Qualifications

  • Portfolio of work demonstrating strong proficiency as an Organic or Character artist.
  • Passion for playing and creating games.
  • Self driven with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to tackle challenges and problem solve with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to work closely with many other disciplines and be a team player
  • Ability to bring an asset from modeling all the way to Texturing and getting the object in game.
  • Understand of texture creation
  • Experience creating organic assets
  • Strong sense of body proportions and anatomy.
  • Skilled in creating and understanding PBR materials.
  • Intermediate understanding of Maya/Max, Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance Painter
  • Advance understanding of current game art pipelines and methodologies.

Additional Beneficial Skills

  • Experience creating 2D rough concepts and/or illustrations.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with rigging and skinning.

Hard Surface Artist Job Family

The hard surface artist candidate will be experienced with translating 2D concepts into full 3D assets such as weapons, vehicles, mechanics, and armour, to join our growing game development team working for AAA/PC/Console and Mobile products for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Create models, uv map, textures, and materials for environment, armour, vehicle, mechanical, and weapons assets.
  • Translate concept art and design ideas into 3D.
  • Help develop final look of hard surface models.
  • Help set and maintain the high-quality bar for the game projects.
  • Assist in scoping work for on time milestone deliveries.
  • Support concept phase with 3D explorations.
  • Help design modular and technical workflows to support gameplay features.
  • Provide Consistent & Quality results.
