Klang is looking for a Senior Systems Designer (f/m/d) who sees that the potential of games goes well beyond just providing fun distractions. You will imagine, design, implement, and improve systems that bring an engaging virtual world to life. One of your key tasks will be to create accessible, fun gameplay systems, going hand in hand with the simulation aspect of SEED, as well as improving the design content implementation pipeline.

What you will do:

  • System design as part of an interdisciplinary, outcome-focused feature team
  • Design systems that help SEED gain momentum and keep player engaged over a long period of time
  • Liaise between Live-Ops, Production, Player Insights, and other stakeholders
  • Support the effort of building a growing city environment for the simulation
  • Champion tight implementation and validation loops
  • Strengthen the design discipline through improving the content implementation pipeline
  • Evolve systems that support our players actively co-sponsoring, contributing, and refining SEED’s virtual world

Who we think will be a great fit:

  • PC Game Designer with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of multiplayer games and their motivations
  • Well versed in strategy games, simulations, and RPGs
  • Passion for creating worlds that celebrate community, player happiness and collaboration
  • Experienced in creating player operated content systems from scratch and driving their improvement iteratively
  • Strong knowledge of unity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (office language is English)
  • Thriving working in an agile environment


  • Knowledge of content implementation handling in Unreal Engine
  • Experience in user research-driven validation
