Description: King University is accepting applications for the position of Director of Esports/Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of King’s collegiate esports program, as well as providing support for the Director of Athletic Communications in the sports of men’s and women’s wrestling, bass fishing, and esports.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates should possess knowledge of esports and gaming, a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, experience in and understanding of the collegiate sports model and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.

Responsibilities: Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; establish the team's competition and practice schedules; Recruit student/athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA, NACE, and other governing bodies rules and regulations
