Travel & Expense Specialist - 12 mth FTC

Main responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate should have experience in the Corporate travel industry and dealing with Employee expense systems. In addition, logistic event management experience is required.

The candidate will join King Travel and Expense team to support all employee expense functions including, but not limited to expense report review, ERP interface reconciliation, employee support and to ensure submitted expenses are in accordance with travel policy guidelines. They will also play an important role planning logistics when preparing for the company’s annual event.

Due to the nature of the role, the ideal candidate should have an experience working with global Finance teams and have a proven track record of managing events.

You must have excellent English and communication skills, advanced knowledge in Excel and experience using expense management tools e.g Concur will be beneficial.

Other skills include:

  • Knowledge of employee expenses lifecycle through expense tool to ERP and payment.
  • Large event experience
  • Technical experience in online event registration platforms
  • Supplier management within the hospitality industry
  • Ability to work with limited supervision with a hands- on approach
  • An analytic mindset, ability to bring new ideas to increase efficiency of existing practices
  • High Excel and Power Point skills

  • Excellent communication skills liaising with external suppliers, clients and employees.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Outstanding organisational skills including ability to multi- task and prioritise to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach with good problem- solving skills and use of initiative
