At King we are building graphically astounding 3D titles.

This new role, as a Technical Artist as part of the Marketing Studio, will be an essential link between Dev/ Production and Marketing.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN OUR KINGDOM

You will work closely with Artists, Producers, Marketers as part of an experienced team where both your technical skills and creative vision will shape the creative content will showcase the exciting features of upcoming games and live events of current ones. You will also be a key member of the creative process, drawing up ideas for new ways to design and communicate game concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Build close relationships with the internal game teams and provide general technical art support for the New Game Marketing art team.
  • Processing of artwork from the game project to traditional marketing pipeline.
  • We integrate existing artwork, fixing and tweaking where required.
  • Develop and maintain art production workflows and pipelines by writing scripts and tools to aid artists in the creation of content

SKILLS TO CREATE THRILLS

  • Deep understanding of content pipelines for games
  • Strong Maya proficiency and a deep understanding of rigging and art creation workflows
  • Deep understanding of Unity
  • Experience working in the video games/advertising industry with knowledge of best practices in digital and traditional marketing.
  • Proven track record of both artistic and technical creativity with a passion for solving problems
  • Good artistic sensibilities and great attention to details
  • Versatile and willing to switch tasks based on the project’s need
  • Experience in digital content creation using tools such as Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and ZBrush
  • Comprehensive knowledge of rendering fundamentals, such as modelling, unwrapping/texturing/shading/surfacing, rigging, animation, lighting, rendering and pipeline tool development

  • Proven experience in a marketing art team
  • Experience giving detailed feedback and communicate direction between both internal team and external partners
  • Strong understanding of marketing design and best practices
  • High understanding on web and mobile environment
