Job Description:

As the Partner Success advisor, your responsibility includes developing and growing King Shared Tech’s nascent Partner Success team.

You will be responsible for advising the VP Partner Success and the team leads: craft leads for partner management and analytics, and two partner leads.

The team is tasked with supporting the Shared Tech team in enabling adoption, scaling and usage of platform capabilities across new and existing partners. You will work cross- functionally with operational and product leads to ensure that we are establishing a .

You thrive in ambiguous environments and are able to collaborate with other teams and partners, while possessing a real passion for technology, innovation, and success. You have a deep knowledge of the free- to- play game industry with the confirmed ability to maintain senior executive relationships, lead cross- functional software development, navigate organizational structures; understand commercial strategies; and identify and seize opportunities to deliver outcomes and results. You are detail oriented and structured in your approach, with the ability to be a phenomenal partner at all levels. You have proven presentation and partner management skills, and thrive in a fast moving environment with a culture that relies on teamwork.

Objectives

Amongst the results to be achieved are these key objectives:

  • Collaborate in the production of a Partner Success business plan to build vision and define ops/resourcing requirements going into 2022+
  • Determine initial value to drive customers, leveraging standard use cases and testimonials
  • Up level customer facing teams to be strategic advisors driving business transformation - through mentoring on partner success best practices
  • Define and develop role- based processes that drive the right behavior for the right users at the right times, and address the need for teams to understand the product specific capabilities and best practices; specifically establishing a way of working between the partner success and integration teams.

Secondary objectives:

  • Build a framework that provides improved health and success measurement
  • Provide a clear and simple enablement approach that allows the Partner Success teams to scale and focus on their expertise, rather than doing basic repeatable tasks, through prescriptive offerings that drive adoption
  • Create a foundational onboarding journey to get new users to value quickly with proactive guidance and a consistent experience
  • Align internal teams to deliver a consistent and proactive experience for gaming teams
  • Reduce reactive heroics across the teams to onboard and support product offerings
  • Leverage and curate existing content, when possible

Methodology

  • To achieve the objectives defined above, I propose the following approach, which includes, but is not limited to:
  • Consultancy Services. In this capacity I serve as your backstage resource to provide ongoing guidance. I regularly meet with you to meet the objectives for each phase and to be an objective resource and facilitator. We will work together on a regular basis to:
  • Identify short, mid and long term business goals and desired outcomes
  • Identify and document Product and Service offerings
  • Identify and document team structure and processes
  • Identify and document success measurements, and their applicability to your business goals
  • Review the current approach of the Partner Success team and identify areas for improvement
  • Identify tools, and softwares used in the delivery of Services
  • Provide recommendations to improve existing processes and success measurements
  • Provide recommendations to improve team structure and future growth
  • Provide recommendations to improve efficiency of team leveraging tools, and softwares
  • Create Product and Services collateral as a means to educate internal teams at King.com (if applicable)
  • Provide best practices for Customer Success fundamentals, Services and Support offerings

What do we need?

  • Have 10+ years of experience in ad tech or games with a general management mentality
  • Strong understanding of the business from the sales/client, publisher/partner and product perspectives.
  • Strong management experience with a large team and manager level reports preferably within a matrixed organization.
  • Experience across mobile app, display, and video and across multiple client verticals.
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade sales and account teams, operations, product and C- level executives.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to rapidly learn new technologies and take advantage of new concepts.
  • Experience managing complex interdepartmental projects.
  • Ability to deliver strong results in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem- solving skills.
