We are looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our casual studio in Barcelona.
Your Role Within our Kingdom
You will join a passionate team and work on one of our successful live games. You will work closely with other artists, producers, game designers and developers as part of an experienced team, where both your technical skills and creativity will help create exciting new content for our players.
You have relevant industry experience in applying UI design principles to deliver beautiful, stylistically consistent interfaces that feel intuitive to players and positively impact the business.
You are used to design solutions, assets, and layouts that enable users to perform tasks with ease and satisfy their emotional needs.
You will work closely with artists to ensure that UI assets maintain the defined style for the product, and will take initiative to promote consistency among all the UI designs and assets in the product. You will also work closely with UX designers to ensure that interfaces guide the player's attention as intended.
You can innovate and explore, but you know when to adhere to established styles.
You continue to build knowledge of the industry and the company, and participate in opportunities to improve personal UI design skills as well as design processes on the team. You will collaborate harmoniously with other crafts and exemplify good communication.
Skills to Create Thrills
- Able to create high- fidelity mockups, screens, and UI assets that clearly demonstrate a very strong understanding of advanced graphic design principles, while still adhering to the product's overall style guide.
- Highly creative with a true passion for games
- You bring lots of experience in creating and implementing assets carefully and efficiently, always being mindful of any impact said implementation could have on other crafts or product areas.
- Knowledge of technical constraints, optimization and implementation
- Previous experience from creating casual and/or mobile games
- Able to proactively deliver artwork to the target device
Bonus Points
- Concept art skills with a good eye for composition and colour
- Skills in animation and special effects
- Experience working in an agile project environment
- Previous experience from creating casual and/or mobile games
