Do you want to design and impact millions of players? Do you want to level up Candy Crush Soda’s user experience and develop intuitive features with the monetisation team?

We are looking for a proactive Senior UI Designer with proven UI expertise to bring the best design practices to our game.

Your role within our Kingdom

As part of Candy Crush Soda Saga, you will be part of the Monetisation team in the game. Reporting to the Creative Lead, you'll ensure the process is player-centric and inclusive.

You will work with UX Designers, User Researchers, Visual Development Artist, Technical Artists, Game Designers, Developers, and Producers, to create high-quality results to improve the core of our game interface and experiences constantly.

Responsibilities include:

  • UI Owner - take charge of UI decisions, ensuring a good sweet spot between player and business needs.

  • Collaboration - Work with the different crafts in your team, listen to them and consider their opinions when designing. Work with UX and Game Designers to bring new content to our Live Ops.

  • Player-Centric - Consider our players in every part of the design process and advocate for them in the team.

  • Inclusive Design - Design for everybody; your designs are inclusive and consider all types of players' abilities.

  • Strategy - Work with Producers to align the feature roadmap.

Skills to create thrills

  • Experience in UI design for mobile games.

  • A well-developed sense of visual aesthetics

  • Have a good understanding of the product development cycle in an agile environment.

  • Knowledge of casual gameplay mechanics.

  • You have good knowledge of technical constraints and assets optimisation.

  • Be an Inclusive Design and Accessibility advocate.

  • An understand of or experience with e-commerce, sale bundles and in-game purchases is a plus.
