Senior Marketing Artist - FTC until 24th December

We are looking for an ambitious and distinctive Senior Marketing Artist to join our in- house Marketing Studio, to work on complex cross- departmental campaigns and creative projects. The position is full- time based in London.

You are a creative champion who knows how to tell a compelling story with a commercial message. You collaborate closely with producers, fellow creatives, external production companies and internal marketing teams, applying your creative skills and design expertise to a broad range of channels.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN OUR KINGDOM

The role will combine creative leadership and hands- on work on graphic design, illustration, motion graphics, animation and gameplay recording projects, whilst having a great time!

With your creative vision in mind you will guide the stakeholders and external vendors through the creative process. You love to brainstorm together with your team, and contribute to turn everybody's ideas into a reality.

This role requires exceptional design skills and the ability to work autonomously and dynamically on multiple projects for a variety of brands in the King portfolio.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to drive the creative ideation phase for creative briefs with original ideas and inspiration - visualizing and defining ideas, style and structure of design work, and bringing those to life
  • See the bigger picture and create topline concepts that stay faithful to the products visual identity
  • Deliver compelling, confident pitches and presentations to stakeholders across the business
  • Work smartly to source, reuse and adapt existing assets to create new original artwork.
  • Create bespoke illustrations in specific art styles to match our brands.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to clearly understand their objectives and what content, and which channel, makes creative perform at its best
  • Address feedback from stakeholders in a timely manner, with a positive and proactive attitude and approach.
  • Be able to build innovative marketing creatives and creative testing strategies that teach us how our users engage with our creatives, in order to identify best performing practices
  • Ensure quality in all creative outputs within assigned projects and motivate, and deliver meaningful feedback to fellow creatives and external agencies to maintain King’s standard.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of creative in paid and/or owned media channels
  • Lead brainstorms and collaborative ideation sessions.
  • Estimate, and communicate accurate timings for briefs, highlighting risks and challenges early on in a project
  • Be able to structure and detail your work and your techniques for internal sharing purposes.
  • Identify and implement areas to increase asset efficiency on a quick turn around.
  • Contribute to the improvement of production processes
  • Communicate clear instructions to team members and external partners.
  • Mentor and coach middleweight and junior creatives

Essential skills required:

  • Experience working within an animation, motion graphics, creative, art direction role
  • Proven experience pitching creative campaigns/ ideas
  • Experience leading creative projects and people (internal and external)
  • Good negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Flexible approach to challenges with a solid understanding of the variables involved in project delivery
  • A show- reel demonstrating the following;
  • Great skills in video design, UI and user experience design
  • Extensive skills in Adobe Creative suite
