Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Community Specialist to join the King Community Team. Someone who is experienced, organised, player centric and has a great level of proactivity. This role is based in Stockholm.

Your Role Within our Kingdom

  • Be an ambassador for the player Community and enhance the voice of the players to the rest of the company
  • Coordinate with game teams and other internal departments to ensure that players stay informed on game activities
  • Establish and foster an effective feedback loop between players and studios that combines quantitative and qualitative reports
  • Mentor team members by consistently and accurately assessing their strengths and opportunities for improvement and providing direct and actionable feedback, training, and development opportunities
  • Help define and ensure the Community strategy, including methods for retention, acquisition, engagement, moderation policies, and content creation opportunities, event presence, ambassador programs, etc.
  • Define the way we serve our players and always aim for healthy, active and self- sufficient communities
  • Find and scope improvements on the capability of our platforms to drive efficiencies and optimize UX
  • Define, report on, and drive ongoing improvements to Community Management KPIs
  • Collaborate with Player Support leadership to maximize positive business impact
  • You’ll be a POC for Community on some of King’s biggest titles and will be representing the players from the Community

Skills to Create Thrills

  • A minimum of 3 years in Community Management
  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • A consistent record running and growing highly engaged/self- moderated communities and forums at an international level
  • Proactivity and high energy to grow the role and the function within King
  • Autonomy and great ability to build things from scratch
  • Ability to work in international and remote teams
  • A passion for games and experience working with highly engaged communities is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to communicate with clarity and confidence to a wide variety of audiences
  • Track record of exploiting and analyzing data and reports to understand the performance of the Community and initiatives implemented
  • Structured, organized, with a strategic and analytical mindset
  • Positivity and can- do approach to overcome challenges and constraints
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to achieve outstanding results

Bonus Points

  • Experience working and engaging directly with stakeholders to raise the profile and the visibility of the function within the organization
  • Experience building relationships and communities from scratch
  • Previous experience in a customer service or a user- facing role
  • Experience using Vanilla forums, CX Social Response, Affogata, Looker & Google Analytics
