The QA Analyst role is embedded in an agile game team and focuses predominantly on Exploratory Testing throughout the development lifecycle. Main Responsibilities:
- You perform Exploratory Testing (E.T.) on user stories, as well as regression any system integration testing.
- You actively coach the Team in their approach to testing and quality.
- You have proactive attitude towards overall quality of the product and release cycle improvements where it is required.
- You analyse feature requirements to detect potential gaps and risks, and communicate it to the Team.
- You provide quality and usability feedback to the Team and ATL (Agile Test Lead).
- You participate in sprint planning meetings, design reviews and sprint retrospectives.
- You help to replicate hard to reproduce production issues.
- You manage defects through to resolution.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in improving test design & test coverage.
- You ask yourself "Where do I bring the most value?”
- You raise awareness when quality is not good enough.
- Provide clear and accurate description of each bug found.
- Share technical knowledge/potentially general bugs/improvement ideas with the rest of the agile team.
- Maintain a good understanding of the game platform and its relation to gameplay mechanics of the game under test.
- Exploit your domain knowledge to target areas of the application most likely to yield high value defects.

- You are passionate about games and able to work in a flexible and fluid environment where the job will evolve over time. Other skills include:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to generate abstract test scenarios from feature requirements
- Possess a deep understanding of different testing techniques e.g. functional testing, domain testing, risk testing
- Experience as an embedded QA in an autonomous team.
- Quality oriented, always keeping the customer in mind
- Experience in working with mobile devices on different platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, etc)
- Experience with Jira
