We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Manager to drive our data privacy and compliance products oriented to safeguard the privacy of our players following regulations. This is an area of high growth in the gaming industry as platforms and regulators are increasingly investing in protecting and making transparent how the data shared by players is used. Examples of this are the App Tracking Transparency ( ATT ) as part of iOS14 or the UK’s AADC ( Age Appropriate Design Code ) regulation.

The role sits within King’s technology organisation which is responsible for providing the shared platform on which all our games run.

As a Product Manager, you will pair with engineering and work closely with legal and business areas to create the best experience for our players to know what data they share, how it is used and be able to handle consent on it. This data is made available to King in order to assure a safe and trustworthy experience for our players across our games and products.

Specifically you will:

  • Identify and prioritise opportunities of investment.
  • Evaluate the business impact of these opportunities
  • Work with engineering and UX to discover the best solution for the identified opportunities and plan how to build them.
  • Own and make sure the product team has a clear understanding of what are the problems worth solving, why, the impact that they yield and their priority
  • Follow up and support the delivery of the solutions discovered
  • Keep constant communication with stakeholders and other business and technology areas for alignment, updates and follow up of projects.
  • Monitor, analyse and extract insights from the performance of the products you work on.

Skills to Create Thrills

You have solid experience in product management in a fast paced environment. You love solving problems through solutions that are created iteratively and in conjunction with engineers and stakeholders and have experience with high- scale products that are used by millions of users. Ideally you have previous experience in the area of data privacy and security.

  • At least 3 years of experience as Product Manager of digital products
  • Experience in high- scale products used by millions of users
  • Experience in handling product development following agile principles
  • Can execute product management responsibilities without much guidance
  • Talent for building strong professional relationships and strong influencing and communication skills
  • Used to a multicultural, multinational working environment
  • Curious, empathic, good team player
  • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • Preferably experience in the gaming industry
  • Preferably experience in data privacy and security games industry
