You will be responsible for the management of the local IT Support team and accountable for the corporate IT Support activities in the Stockholm office. You will report into the Senior Manager of IT Support and work closely with a team of leads dispersed throughout Europe to improve and standardise the IT portfolio delivered to the employees of King. Your profile is one of a seasoned manager with years of experience, able to take initiative in a fast-paced setting, possessing technical and creative proficiency within IT, particularly in environments where Windows, Mac OSX co-exist and lastly and most importantly, clear experience coordinating and developing high performing teams.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of the IT Support Engineers reporting into you. This includes everything from hiring, development conversations, 1:1s and delivering performance reviews.

  • Coordinate the IT team in providing end user support for applications and systems like MS Office, VPN, Mobile Phones.

  • Work with all of the regular IT support tools including but not limited to: Active Directory, Exchange, remote desktop tools, antivirus suites, imaging (SCCM and MDT), Mobile Iron, disk encryption, spam management (Proofpoint).

  • Ensure joiners and leavers IT requirements are managed accurately.

  • Manage the IT assets through their entire lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.

  • Gather and translate user expectations to technical solutions.

  • Build and update documentation that guides our users and internal IT teams using a wiki (Confluence).

  • Mentor customers and deliver end user training.

  • Manage the priorities and day to day work of your Support team.

  • Lead small projects that will utilise support members from other offices.

  • Managing the IT Support ticket queue to ensure SLAs are achieved locally and on a global scale.

Skills

  • 3+ years leading a team of support engineers and 5+ years experience in IT Support: hardware provisioning, troubleshooting and providing technical solutions of PC and Mac environments.

  • Customer-service oriented great teammate who possesses excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions with limited information.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and email systems (Exchange).

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Windows applications such as Microsoft Office suite.

  • Aware of security standards to protect personal IT devices.

  • ITIL Version 3 and relevant project management experience a bonus skill.

  • Basic understanding of internal networks (routing, DNS, DHCP, etc).

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Ability to travel between King offices as required
