Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate developer to join our team. As part of the developer relations team, you will be a critical part of educating our game teams about our internal C++ engine. In order to do this a big part of your time will be spent creating tech demos, documentation, tutorials and extensions that help our users get started and learn all our best practices. You will also be supporting our users in our internal forums as well as providing hands- on assistance.

We expect you to be experienced within C++ and to have a broad mix of other languages and experiences. You need to be passionate about development and someone who loves helping other developers in their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be available to provide support for game teams, both in person and remotely
  • Create training/documentation material around the game engine and tools
  • Help game teams to keep up to date with the latest engine features
  • Provide engine team "from the field" feedback and feature recommendations

Your role within our Kingdom

You will be a part of our game engine developer relation team with the mission to help game teams work efficiently with the engine. You will provide hands- on support to get the best out of the game engine in game production, whether it’s troubleshooting, profiling or education on existing features. This help can be provided through remote support, production of training material or on- site visits. Teams are located at all our engineering offices, mostly in Europe.

Skills to create thrills

  • A friendly person that can collaborate well with internal customers
  • Excellent programming skills in C/C++, Java and Objective-C
  • Passionate about helping developers and technical artists
  • Experience in working with game engines
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation

  • Experience in a similar advocate/developer relation/support role
  • Experience working in game development
  • Experience working with Python and Bash scripting
  • A passion delivering presentations and trainings
  • Experience recording and editing video tutorials
