We’re currently recruiting a highly analytical FP&A Analyst to report to the Manager of Soda Finance.
Your role within our Kingdom
- Modelling, liaising with game teams and preparing review materials for core planning processes, including annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and weekly pacing
- Prepare monthly leadership pack for all components of the game P&L, including all elements of the month- end close cycle
- Identifying and reporting on trend based KPI’s & analytics to facilitate timely and effective decision to finance leadership
- Run cost models (headcount reporting, cost models), which ensures accurate timely data flow and contributes to our strategic and efficient use of cost investment in line with financial plans, including approving and tracking headcount changes
- Be a true business partner by fostering a culture of integrity and providing supportive insight to key stakeholders
- Communicate issues succinctly and in a timely manner. Proactively identify issues before they become problems
- Support with interpreting financial and non- financial metrics and share information to enable the business to grow according to our core values and strategic outlook
- Provide routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis to the team and to business partners in a form that accurately and clearly articulates the key points
- Share information concisely in PowerPoint using visuals/graphics appropriate to the audience
Skills to create thrills
- Self- organised and the ability to gather data from various sources – teams, systems, excel, people’s heads
- Confidence in working with cross- functional teams, specifically finance, games teams and HR teams
- Excellent business partnering skills, collaborative in building robust relationships within the King community
- Comfortable working with big data sets; translating results into meaningful analysis and incorporating into forecasts
- Commercial awareness, as well as demonstrable experience of understanding relationships between key financial and non- financial business drivers
- Experience in presenting commercial and financial metrics to non- finance teams and key stakeholders
- Hyperion/Workday/Oracle R12 systems experience or similar large enterprise software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken (English) with ability to present complex issues in clear, simple language
- Able to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines to ensure key deliverables are met
