We are looking for an Engineering Manager to shape the future of King’s Service Framework that provides the best internal framework for king teams to build back-end services for growing some of the most popular mobile games in the world such as Candy Crush Saga.
More specifically, the Service Framework team aims to build and maintain the solutions that make it trivial for developers to create, publish and consume APIs for the services they and others build. Ensure that services built at King can communicate with each other easily and securely. Security concerns and reliability safeguards are incorporated in the framework and tools we offer. So that developers spend their time writing business logic not implementing service integrations, security constructs or network configurations.
Your role within our Kingdom
As Engineering Manager in the Unified Platform Foundations, you will have a great opportunity to lead a strong and dedicated team that is capable of evolving King’s internal technology ecosystem to fulfill the business needs.

Inspire and empower the talents in your team, so they can excel in building great software. Support individual career growth through specific goal setting, continuous feedback and coaching.
Work closely with product managers, team members and our internal customers to understand the business requirements.
Support the team for timely delivery of platform solutions.
Grow the team through continuous improvement of team structure, ways of working and team culture.
Skills to create thrills
Proven track record of success in developing people and growing engineering teams.
Passionate about building a healthy, inspiring, and motivating team environment.
Good experience in software engineering to understand complex details in software development, as well as standard processes in building and delivering technical solutions.
Passionate about building the right product through technology that brings business value.
Ability to communicate the business and technical tradeoffs across the organization.
Bonus points
Experience in developing applications in Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge about product discovery process.
