Job Description

We are looking for a Business Performance Manager in the King Shared Tech product management team, to facilitate data driven decision making for building and providing the right operational tools and insights to maximise the business performance of King’s game portfolio.

King Shared Tech team is designing and building a portfolio of powerful online service products, called Unified Platform, for operating our games as live services. Unified Platform offers an extendable framework to build advanced and efficient operational tools leveraging our unique state- of- the- art real- time data architecture. Unified Platform offers operations tools and analytics, e.g. for liveops, game economy, player engagement and player community management and personalised meta game logic, like player quests.

As a Shared Tech team Business Performance Manager you will be working with ST Product Managers, other King’s Business Performance Managers, Data Scientists and game team operations teams to identify new opportunities to offer powerful solutions to operate games more efficiently and identity valuable insights of how tool product KPIs are impacting game business KPIs.

Your role within our Kingdom

  • Working with Shared Tech Product Managers and game team Business Performance Managers leverage analytics and quantitative analysis to monitor ST solution and related game performance
  • Provide input for ST Product Managers to make the ST tool products better for making data driven decisions, e.g. to configure the game economy or liveops campaigns
  • Identify the most important ST product KPIs and how they linked to game business KPIs
  • Provide ST leadership and Product Managers regular updates on business performance findings and the ST product impact on King’s games
  • Evangelize the importance of data and the reasons behind the decisions taken for the product
  • Share the best data practises across the ST organisation

Skills to create thrills

  • Prior experience in an industry with very short implementation cycles such as e- commerce, online products/services or games
  • Highly analytical, with exceptional experience of big data decision making
  • Good understanding of statistics, the ability to interpret these with confidence and drive through your recommendations and willingness to learn more
  • Understanding of game- as- a- service tools and workflows, especially related to liveops
  • Curious, empathic, good team player;
  • Good understanding of the games industry
  • A passion for casual games
