Job Description
We are looking for an AP Specialist (fixed term contract) in a fast growing multinational company.
Your role within our Kingdom
Reporting to Accounts Payable Manager and Senior Account Payable Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring King´s regional and global supplier ledgers, performing variety of AP duties within King’s Shared Service Centre in Barcelona, including but not limited to the maintenance of supplier accounts, timely processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier accounts and responding to internal and external invoice related queries. This is a global role with global responsibility spanning King’s operations in UK, Malta, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Germany and the US.
Responsibilities Include
- You will be in charge of invoice management and maintenance of supplier ledgers for various King entities
- Responsible for correct entry and coding of supplier invoices
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Actively seeking resolution for invoice processing bottlenecks or issues to ensure healthy aging
- Weekly and monthly reporting
Skills To Create Thrills
Previous working experience in multinational organisation/shared service center, preferably in accounts payable, invoice management, accounting or P2P is desired. Candidate should have a degree in Finance, Business Management, Business Administration or any other relevant qualification. Candidate must have excellent written and spoken communications skills in English. Swedish, German and Spanish are beneficial. Previous experience with ERP systems such as Oracle/SAP is advantage. Candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principle and functions. Should be proficient user of Microsoft Excel. Candidate needs to be able to concisely and professionally answer invoice related queries from internal and external partners. Should possess good time management skills to meet deadlines.
